Samourai Wallet Trial Set For November 3, 2025
  • The next hearing in the Samourai Wallet case is postponed until March 12th, 2025 in light of volume of discovery
  • The prosecution has added two additional batches of discovery since the last hearing in September
  • The trial date is set for November 3rd, 2025

According to a memo endorsement filed on December 11th, Samourai Wallet's next hearing, originally set for December 17th, is postponed by 90 days until March 12th, 2025.

The postponement is granted in light of additional discovery filed in the case, now totaling 17 Terabytes of data.

In a recent hearing, Samourai Wallet's defense described the breadth of discovery to be equivalent to "75% of the Library of Congress,” and that if printed out, the stacked paper would reach from Earth to the Moon and back – 22 times.

The prosecution has since provided two new batches of discovery to the defense, as well as two revised batches.

The Government notes that it is still in the process of producing an additional batch of discovery to be made available in the next seven days to Rodriguez' defense relating to devices obtained from William Hill's residence in Portugal.

So far, the prosecution has scanned 16 of the 29 seized devices for privileged material, stating that it would provide the court with a full list of privileged discovery by late January or early February.

The trial date has been set for November 3rd, 2025.
